The Normies Sports Department along with its most dedicated sportsmen and women, the Normies Dancers and School Council’s Extra-Mural and Service Pillar, headed to Parkwood Primary for the annual Mandela Day Sports Drive.
The learners brought their A game to the initiative sharing the best of their knowledge and experience to the enthusiastic kids of Parkwood Primary. It was a beautiful day that displayed humility in its most defining image – there was such joy in those 67 minutes. Activities included Gum Boot dancing, Soccer, Hockey, Rugby, Netball, Dance, Chess, Aerobics and our school councilors entertained the foundation phase kids to various sing-a-longs and classroom games. At the end of all the fun and games, the Normies learners served juicy orange slices to all the learners of Parkwood as a delightful refreshment after all the activities on what was a warm winters day.
